"Ukrainian Polymeric Industry Representatives Council" (UPIRC) addresses complex manufacturing issues in the production of Polymer related products. UPIRC experts define manufacturing specifications and quality control standards for manufactures in order to conform to international norms.
The UPIRC actively admonish businesses which produce products of low quality and/or participate in anti-competitive business practices.
The UPIRC exemplifies the highest standard of European market regulation. European regulatory agencies receive tax privileges and financial packages from their respective governments in
order to protect manufacturers from unethical business practices. These agencies regulate the market by insuring all industry participants conform to stringent quality control standards and
ethical business practices.
Thus, the UPIRC developed and trademarked the association's Quality Mark of safe packing and implemented a national standard for quality control. In many respects, our program is unique. In order to receive the UPIRC's Quality Mark, a company must meet two different sets of requirements: First, the final product must adhere to a list of regulations governing technical specifications and ecological safety; Second, the manufacturer must conform to a list of ethical (competitive) business practices. This symbiosis of ethical production and business practices ensures the polymer packing market will become more transparent and legitimate.
Requirements to the quality mark applicants:
1. The manufacturer must have developed an ecological policy and quality control techniques (please find the description of the above documents in the appendix).
2. The manufacturer must have exact goals and prospects for development (see appendix).
3. Employees of the the manufacturer should have high skills (level of technical training, experience and qualification should be attached to the application as reference).
4. The manufacturer should own the manufacturing and warehouse premises in accordance with the law. The manufacturing equipment should be held legally (property rights, lease contracts, etc).
5. Production should conform to ecological standards of business: the goods are ecologically safe (environment-friendly production, non-toxic, non-radioactive, no harmful dyes, low power consumption according to the state technical standards of the laboratories certified by Association or international standards ISO).
6. Safety and durability (manufacturing processes, inflammability, statical data, etc.; in accordance to state technical standards of the laboratories certified by Association or international standards ISO).
7. Absence of legitimate complaints from clients and end users regarding an unfair attitude to treaty obligations and quality of products.
